dystopia!

overview: subin realises his feelings for his high school friend and former roommate, hyunwoo, haven't dispersed even after he was rejected and left alone for two years.

review: subin is just so fucking reckless and all the characters are more real than they are compassionate. even when things change, we never get consolidation, but instead brutal honesty with crude language, smoking and drinking.

plot: 7.5/10
drawings: 6/10

overview: minjae acts as the perfect son to his adoptive father who he is in love with. while he exerts his sexual frustrations with his friend taehyun, his father is very far from the polite facade he puts up - especially since minjae murdered his son.

review: minjae is a terrible person with a terrible upbringing and terrible morals and hyukjoon is insane but with reason to an extent - taehyun is the only sane one. not a bad read, but the ending was iffy for me.

overview: jisuh, who works as a cameraman, is invited to film a sex tape for heejae, an actor, with his partner. however, jisuh realises he has more attention directed to him than expected.

review: the men are manipulative and conniving when it comes to playing with emotions. there's a twist that turns the tables, but overall it's the human condition that makes the webtoon relatively messy.

overview: ever since his first love swore at him, shinwoo could derive sexual pleasure only from hardcore humiliation. even with his kind-hearted boyfriend, he finds himself yearning for that extra bit more... which he finds when his first love comes back into his life.

review: shinwoo is screwed up, taesoo is trash and sebin is such a sweetie who deserves so much more. i do like how shinwoo comes to his senses when sebin is no longer around though.

plot: 6.5/10

overview: yeongwoong attempts to conceal his feelings for his childhood best friend maru by getting involved with maru's older brother.

review: illustrations are cute but the plot is deeper. the character development is very shallow, it's rushed as hell, they don't communicate. also yeongwoong getting involved with two brothers is iffy. why didn't i mind reading it regardless of all this?

overview: junyoung, a broke college student, becomes weary as he gets caught up with a rich, married man who is dating his best friend... or so he thinks.

review: junyoung is terrible for going for someone who he thought was taken, and mari is terrible for having affairs with rich married people only. the age gap of the MC is 19 years, which is different.

plot: 7/10

overview: kyunghee grows startled when he realises his ex sugar daddy sihyun, who he broke up with for being too clingy, is his mother's new boyfriend.

review: i disliked reading this very much - not because of the plot or drawings, but also because of the plot and drawings. i understand the authorial intention behind this - it's a screwed up story - but i despised the characters and everything that happened. the ending sucked too.
