The story is a good read but the art isn't that great honestly. However the concept is great so I'm listing it anyway

This is a coming of age story with lgbtq representation with an admitadely "safe" ending. It's hard to say whether this was really good or mediocre because it was realistic on some parts but also kind of written weirdly.

The story starts with college student Taichi, who comes from a not-so-well-off household and is desperately searching for work. He (literally) stumbles across fellow student Kouhei while on a job hunt, and is incredibly enticed by the delicious bento Kouhei has in hand. However, something seems a bit off about Kouhei–and when Taichi consults his friends about it, he gets an answer he really wasn't expecting: Kouhei is severely hearing impaired.

Conor, a Korean-American, lives in a city where same-sex marriage has been legalized, but where racist and homophobic hate crimes are still frequent. He joins a band with the blonde hair, blue-eyed Simon and the two go on to create their own “dark heaven” in an abandoned church. Feelings develop between the pair, but light cannot dwell with dark, and their time together will soon come to an end...

Exactly what I wanted in a slice of life shounen ai where we see a couple just loving each other and getting over tough times together
