Splendid! Such a beautiful complex plot tackling morality, what it means to be human, and love. I really wish there were extras to give us more info on what happened in the aftermath though. But the characters are really lovely and felt multifaceted and “human”! I love the complexity of their issues, Fetechou and Naerim alike swearing to protect each other, Naerim’s kindness and strength and Fetechou’s sincerity and dedication. Side charas and plots were really lovely as well, overall this was a
Splendid! Misunderstanding trope on steroids turned into selflessness and determination in the wrong direction. A heart wrenching story with the two meeting, parting, and meeting again thanks to their complicated feedlings. Charas are so complex and alive, a splendid bittersweet story! 11/10 highly rec, to others and reread to me, sweet seme Kyousuke and uke Kasumi!
Reread: I’m so glad I forgot the details of this manga because I enjoyed it even more the second time. They’re so loving and clumsi
Ugh one of my faaaaaves my teeth hurt from all the sweetness urk. I love the “unattractive ML” trope and here is a great piece full of amazing characters, development, and misunderstandings! The last few chapters had me legit crying despite being aware of the happy ending because it’s so easy to get attached to the charas and empathize with their pain and happiness. LOVE IT, A MEMORABLE ONE THAT I REVISITED FROM MY BRAIN ARCHIVES 11/10
Yes yes everything yes. This manga got it all! RR with seme being the physically weaker and smaller one, uke having masochistic fantasies(due to guilt), a great tragic backstory, and really three dimensional characters. The explanations behind their actions and personalities is great (sora-kun we can’t forgive you for what you did to ryou-chan but i sure can wish you all the best, you deserve happiness too). Had me crying with all the revelations but also rejoicing at the sweetness of their rela
Wow I haven’t cried like this for a one shot in a while! So so beautifully written, gotta go recommend this to everyone after I dehydrate myself from sobbing.
Reread: didn’t quite cry this time but still so splendid 10.5/10!!
OMG SEME IS AN ABSOLUTE GEM WOW MASAHIRO IS ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVES LIKE, I CAN’T SAY ANYTHING BAD ABOUT HIM!!! I loved this manga, it explored feelings and growth and finding love amidst the hurt. Haruhi is committing self-harm in a way by selling his body in contempt for himself and being compared to his charismatic twin brother; that is, until he meets Masahiro who befriends him eagerly. The confession scene was so lovely! A sudden surprising utterance that went so incredibly smoothly, it se
Really incredible!! I love how the characters ended the manga with realistic realizations of their dreams. Yes, they’ve all gone on amazing paths and are above and beyond the average, but they were still kids and in the development stages of realizing their great goals. It leaves the manga open-ended but not frustratingly so! Keito is a wonderful, memorable MC with her headstrong personality but also flaws that could be used as strengths as well. The romance was also awesome in this, I adore the
AMAZING. I don’t have enough words, this is definitely the best work I’ve read in a long time. I didn’t have a choice but to binge it. It was funny and endearing, then wonderfully heartbreaking. The resolution of the last few chapters had me legit doing heaving sobs, I haven’t cried like this in a while and it feels so good. It starts out as a lighthearted supernatural slice of life introducing a great cast of characters and an adorably awkward romace, but it quickly proves itself to have an inc
