LOOOOOOVE this is so my cup of tea, translators did well to do the original folklore justice in explaining. Art is gorgeous, and setting is too!! Wonderful to read how the mangaka weaved new fiction into ancient folklore, such a beautiful manga and beautiful read. They make for such a lovely pair and the entire cast of characters is wonderful. Need to revisit!! 10.5/10

wowowow what a wonderful ride this was and a truly worthy binge! I’m so happy i accidentlly stumbled across this while looking for a different manga and feel so lucky to have met such wonderful characters. I can definitely see why this series isn’t rated as highly, but it was still a worthy binge for me (about 8-ish days during finals week too?) a lot of parts didnt feel fully fleshed out like the author simply wanted to portray a place of extremes without too much regard for believability like extreme misogyny or OP male characters, and the lore that was intriguing only got brief explanations at the end.
