A love story between a somewhat closeted gay and an expressionless club bouncer.
✦This one had me in my feels because Saya hates being gay so he pretends he isn't. This manga does a good job at showing internalised homophobia Saya really hates himself. Yuusuke makes it better but also shows a real reaction of a 'straight guy' saying he's fine with a guy but freaking out when he sees Saya's dick. It had me sad all the way through.
Hayato meets the new transfer student name Souma, who has not been able to adapt to the new environment.
✦This one is a TEARJERKER I love that it discusses sexuality Souma is gay and although he loves Hayato he refuses to acknowledge Hayato loves him back he assumes he's projecting. When I finally understood why Hayato was so nice I cried mistakes from the past definitely shape who you are.
✦Past suicide attempt and homophobia
Minato and Shizuma sleep together after he gets cruelly dumped by his ex-girlfriend. Minato having fallen in love, at first sight, begins his revenge plot after having being forgotten.
✦ This one is another classic it explores sexuality seriously Shizuma realises he's bisexual whilst poor Minato is scared of being left behind. The slight bi digs were slightly disappointing as it's so stereotypical. Nevertheless, this had me feels and rooting for them two until the end.
Kamisawa is gifted with seeing and cutting the red string of fate he helps a client called Hara, but is plagued by the fact he can't see his own red string.
✦ This had me crying because Hara's red string was attached to someone else and kamisawa the fool kept thinking Hara was going to leave him. The idea of fate can be so evil and really mess up a person. I shipped Kamisawa and happiness (Hara).
Warning this is incest which I hate but the story is so beautiful.
✦Timetravel, loneliness and both characters dealing with something being so wrong but feeling so right.
Shiwoo and Yujin meet again after Shiwoo rejected Yujin years ago. Somehow Shiwoo has changed over the years.
✦This was dark, I see everyone saying they felt for Yujin but what about Shiwoo? Imagine being a victim of abuse at the hands of your ex, confinement, rape and self-loathing. Seeing Yujin love Shiwoo so much once he got over himself was so pure.
I CRIED.
✦Has rape, kidnapping and abuse.
Taemin and Siwon have completely different lives and switch bodies one wanting to live the other wanting to die. The only thing stopping Taemin with his blissful new life is Woojin.
✦I'm a sucker for serious stories and boy this was heartwrenching as much as I love the main couple what captivated me was the unfortunate story of Siwon. How he went from determined to an empty shell due to his jealous brother? Heartbreaking.
✦Has bullying, rape, suicide discussion, character death.
Kami, who is gay, has given up on love. Despite not having anyone to share his cooking with, he always makes a ton of food. And along comes Waki, a good-looking TV announcer who hosts "Waki Travels! Waki's Happy Food Corner!" Although he's got no taste buds, he eats a ton and comments on the food he finds in people's homes.
Harukawa is hiding the fact that he's gay due to the trauma he experienced in middle school. Although he wanted to forget all those haunting memories, a kouhai from his past has followed him.
✦ This one is a sad one I feel so bad for Harukawa everyone needs a Koga beside them. This deals with homophobia in schools and I love it and find it so sad because it's real shit ain't sunshine and rainbows. :(
✦Screw Matsuri! He's the classic case of I'm gay but projecting cause I've been wronged! UGH
Motoharu has always held his childhood friend, Hazumi Akira, close to his heart. He confessed to Akira and then was rejected. Even so, he still entered the same university and same department as Akira.
✦This one does not have a happy ending telling you now it's bittersweet. :(
