The seme used to be bullied or picked on by the uke, but gets a huge glow up/transformation.
It hurts to see the seme gradually fall in love yet continue pretending. He was meant to break the uke’s heart, but it was my heart that started aching HUHU
This author is great at angst
This has such a realistic portrayal of violence and domestic abuse. A lot of victims fail to speak up about it, and they just accept what’s thrown at them. This was one hell of a rollercoaster since the uke didn’t want to break up with his abusive boyfriend despite falling for someone else. I’m glad this didn’t involve cheating.
Sequel of Sabita Yoru Demo Koi wa Sasayaku.
The abusive ex boyfriend has come to terms with everything, and he blames himself for the abuse. It deals with the story of the abuser actually experiencing abuse in his workplace (seen in “Azami”). Heart wrenching since he still hasn’t forgiven himself, and his new love interest wants to help him.
This explains the situation of the abusive ex boyfriend in Sabita Yoru Demo Koi wa Sasayaku and Hadakeru Kaibutsu. Mind break (ish) type of stuff HUHU
This has a sad ending. It’s a psychological manhwa, and I don’t wanna spoil the ending, but things aren’t what they seem.
This was a funny and happy manga, but don’t let it deceive you because it has its fair share of angst in the later chapters. It deals with the uke trying to cope with the prejudice against his sexuality and being afraid of how others see him. The seme is originally straight yet falls for the uke. This was beautiful.
