This is not your average romance story. For me this was a psychological drama, and a really good one at that. The concept of being "allergic" to men might seem silly to some people, but this story provides the explanation and background to defend it. Her fear has roots that branch off and spiral into a whole mess of trauma much deeper than what meets the surface which cripples her ability to navigate through daily life. I loved this way more than I expected.
This shit is sad as hell but I love it. It does a great job illustrating things from the MC's perspective, being an almost immortal elf surrounded by humans with a lifespan that flys by almost instantaneously in comparison. Again tho, this shit makes me cry.
If you like Howls Moving Castle or Ancient Magus Bride type stuff, this gives off a similar feel.
She is a compassionate and smart noble woman, but is framed and given a poor reputation. Married off too a debt ridden noble, her reputation proves unwelcome; resulting in the mistreatment she receives from all of the staff and her new husband.
I love this because it makes me sad tbh. Almost nothing can compare to the feeling of being wrongly accused, and she is experiencing it every second.
I strongly reccomend if you enjoyed "Death is the Only Ending for the Villainess"

(One of my personal favorites.)
Another story on the darker and more dramatic side. It starts you off with a rather straightforward plot but as you uncover more you will find that the story just gets deeper. It has a nice balance between the lighthearted moments and the eerie, suspensful parts.
I know this is really vague but I dont wanna give too much away.
If you liked Secret Alliance I strongly reccomend.
The wicked and now deceased villainess comes back as a spirit to get her revenge while giving some life advice to to pure and virtuous MC. Lemmy just say, I really enjoy this one. It gets really mysterious as you dig deeper into all the corruption behind the scenes and the two main girls become a detective team of sorts.
