This was such a heavy read right from the start. Both Connor and Simon had to go through so much pain in the situation that they were in. I felt anxious reading the first 60 chapters since their happiness really seemed fragile, and I wanted that protected at all costs! I felt lighter around C70 only to get that plot twist. It wasn't pretty. But I'm glad that they both got their happy endings. They deserved it.
They went through a lot of pain, suffering, doubt, and fear. It surely wasn't easy and the road they both had to take was indeed difficult. Reading this imparts all that emotions and the intensity of everything just gets you hooked. I totally loved this especially when Dohyun rejected Yongsoo's accusations towards the end; that "No" really bore weight, and I loved that. I loved that despite everything that happened between them, they were able to take a step forward to findin
Loved it! This one really hit and stayed with me. The plot is everything, especially if you want to see bullies getting what they deserved. Definitely a good read and is worth re-reading and most definitely not for the weak of heart.
This was fucked up. My mind is still fucked up. Despite this being fucked up, it still is so very good. At first, everything seemed all over the place and that really messed me up but the more that I read, the more I understand and the more I felt what the characters are feeling. I commend the author’s ability to twist this into a beautiful mess. Albeit heavy, it’s definitely worth the read. Note—not for the faint of heart, and mind.
It's hauntingly beautiful. The characters are so complex and so twisted but they have brief of moments of clarity that you'd just end up rooting for.
I'm at my wit's end reading the first half; like, why do they have to start having sex during the climatic portions of the plot? Despite the lingering why, I did get my answer and let me tell you that it did not disappointment. With both of them scarred by their pasts, I loved how their characters and the plot progressed and addressed these.
This was beautifully written. You can feel the raw emotions being conveyed in each chapter in such a realistic way. I just can’t seem to find the right words but all I can say that this is a tragic masterpiece.
It actually ended pretty well, but what my heart couldn't handle here was the progression of the story. You can really feel the pain that this character is going through, and how he's willing to put up for it despite how much it hurts.
The characters are twisted in their own ways. The only question I kept asking was why does the CEO need to keep whoring himself out? It’s drama and tactics all the way, without any lingering emotions attached. It’s a heavy read, especially towards the end.
Beautiful storytelling and I loved how both characters did not waver in their beliefs. Somehow, it taught me that our beliefs are powerful things, both for good and bad.
