This is seriously one of the healthiest yaoi relationships I have ever read. No major gloomy undertones or angst or stupid conflicts, just lots of hope and positivity.
I really enjoyed them discovering their sexuality and feelings for each other, the slow burn was not boring at all but filled with lots of character growth and many warm hearted moments. I would absolutely LOVE a sequel for them and a hetero story for Hikaru coz he is such a hot boi!
I was having a yucky day but reading this, it cleansed my soul and brightened my heart and I can sleep well now. *happy sigh* I just LOVE how once they both realised their feelings to each other, they were always hugging and kissing, ahhhh!
I absolutely love anything translated and worked on by Kedama Scans. They do such an excellent job huhuhu. This story was so fluffy and so wonderful to read, their relationship warms my heart and I hope Nanase and Sakurai stay together for always.
I love the main characters, esp Kippei. So patient, straightforward and mature. I love the art and how they are drawn, the framing, the emotions, the nuances, the glances, they all spoke so much to me as much as the dialogue. Love!!
What gorgeous artwork this is. I am so drawn in by the way their eyes are drawn, esp Mao. And the way Hishashi's hair seems to move. Its so beautiful and expressive. The story and dialogue itself is sublime. I also like the framing of each scene, and the characters' poses. The pacing of the romance. It all seems to be so well thought out. 10/10 from me.
I heart Ueda Aki's works. She writes wonderful, heartwarming stories that are true gems. Her work makes me feel so refreshed and healed, everything is alright in my world again.
So, so damn grounded, sensible, consensual, CUTE. I LOVE it.
I dont understand why the rating is less than a 9. This is SO DEM GOOD!! I especially liked the hopeful whimsical ending, but it really is still evident how much in love they are with each other. Such a warm story, loved it!
