I stopped reading this two different times; once because of steep development in plot that made me think it was darker than I thought, and the second because of an intense wave of second-hand embarrassment. Thankfully, I eventually chose to see it through till the end, and thank goodness I did. Yiyoung is a precious bean that I would do anything for. While his relationship with the director got off on a really rocky start, it becomes something so sweet and pure that it makes my heart sing.
Pure fluff. Every single moment was absolutely heartwarming and wholesome. A sweet and earnest love story with incredible comedic timing. Oda is such a gentle giant, and Hasegawa is the cutest tsundere I've ever met. And don't even get me started on Chibi. 100% would recommend to anyone looking for a tooth-rotting story.
The communication, the love, the pure cuteness that is both Keita and Satoshi; all of it make this manga a joy to read. I love how it's not just one person in the relationship bearing the responsibility of making one character better. They make each other better. Being together drives them to do great things. It's pure romance and I am living for it.
This was so cute!!!! I also love the autism representation. It doesn't explicitly say that Tatsumi is autistic, but anyone who knows the signs of someone who is on the spectrum can tell. I also love that this story writes it as just a part of who he is. Shinobu helps him with things he doesn't understand and can't control well, but he never rages about how difficult and "abnormal," Tatsumi is or asks him to change. Shinobu loves Tatsumi for who he is- quirks and all. This was a fantastic story.
