"Machida-kun seems like the perfect brother, son, and student because he loves people. Helpful when he needs to be, but puts himself down when he feels like a total failure. However, the people that surround his daily life are there as a reminder as why Machida-kun needs no improvements because the people love Machida."
Slice of life. MACHIDA BEST BOI!
"Kurumizawa wants to get back to the land, so he leaves Tokyo, buys a ramshackle house in a mountain village, and starts farming. He has a lot to learn, though, so he’s lucky to meet local furniture maker Usa, who shows him around and helps him renovate his house."
Slow life. This is the kind of manga that you wish 'ah, if only it's yaoi' lmaooo but it's still good tho!
"With the marriage of her prostitute mother to the Count, Aria’s status in society skyrocketed immediately. After leading a life of luxury, Aria unfairly meets death because of her sister Mielle’s schemes. And right before she dies, she sees an hourglass fall as if it were a fantasy. And just like that, she was miraculously brought back to the past."
Manhwa. Fantasy. The novel is pretty good too so you guys should check it out!
"Hikoichi Namino is a college student slash magazine model. Akira Tada is a stylist slash magazine model. The two have known each other for four years and have been dating for six months. Although Hikoichi's beside himself with joy every day, there's just one thing missing... he and his beloved Akira have yet to go all the way!"
BL. Unexpectedly cute and wholesome?!?!
"Inaba Suzuna is trying her best to make a campus debut and to have many friends in Tokyo. Until she realized that she miserably fails at living alone. Fortunately, her neighbor, Seto-kun, comes and saves her from dying of starvation."
Cooking, slice of life, friends to lovers. Makes you hungry T.T
Sequel: Tonari wa Nani o Kuu Hito zo - Horoyoi
"Suzuna Inaba who graduated from the university and is going to live together with Seto."
Cooking, slice of life. More rated than the prequel :)))
Prequel: Tonari wa Nani o Kuu Hito zo
"It's the story of Suzuki Iruma, who has been sold to the demon by his irresponsible parents in exchange for money. Surprisingly, next thing he knows, he is living with the demon and has been transferred into a school from Demon World."
Fantasy, School Life. Totally recommended! You can totally feel the bond between the characters and the story keeps getting better as the plot goes.
"Since the graduation of the senior members of the club, Takezou ends up being the sole member of the "Koto" (traditional Japanese string instrument) club. Out of nowhere, a new member barges into the near-abandoned club room, demanding to join the club. How will Takezou be able to keep his club alive and deal with this rascal of a new member?"
Music, high school. The manga is great but you should definitely watch the anime for the performance part!
"Natsume is just an ordinary kid, except he can see spirits, just like his grandma Reiko could. Reiko, though, used to bully the spirits, and bound them to her will in the Book of Friends. Now that Natsume has inherited this book, a never-ending stream of spirits is coming after him."
Slice of life, supernatural. The mangaka wished for the manga to never end... and I wished the same T.T
"Nobuko Tanaka is a college student working part-time at a supermarket. Due to her shy and plain nature, her name is constantly mistaken for “Mobuko,” which has the kanji for “supporting role” lit: (MOB character). So when she develops feelings for her kind co-worker, Irie, will she be able to gather her courage and grow closer to him?"
(Kinda) slow burn. I feel like a proud mother seeing nobuko slowly changing as the plot goes.
Machida-kun no Sekai
