Romance between two reconnecting childhood friends - though if you're not a fan of pregnancy, abuse, or people cheating on their spouses - this might not be the story for you. Seems kind of bleak in the beginning, but the ending is very cute.

Misunderstandings, upon misunderstandings - but like, silly ones. Definitely a opposites attract situation, this story didn't leave me feeling one way or another and I couldn't tell you anything major that happened in this story, since I kind of forgot lol. But from what I do remember, it was good.

I don't remember much about the plot of this story, other than I remember it was short and that I liked it lol. The art is also very pretty and the author definitely has a good eye for clothes (no ugly outfits here, folks)!
[9.5/10]
My favorite WLW manga, very near and dear to my heart because it was the first manga I read with very well-rounded (gay) characters and such a good plot. It does have a love-triangle situation going on later on in the story, so if that's not your cup of tea - you might want to skip this one. Also, sadly this is permanently incomplete because the author passed away.

Two high school friends realize they have feelings for each other and start dating. They slowly try to navigate their new relationship, while trying to keep it hidden from the rest of their friend group. Nothing too serious, and definitely has that feeling of "young love".
[9.5/10]
Top-tier manga - funny as hell, really pretty art, and the main couple is GOALS. Also, the handsome side character best friend as eye candy doesn't hurt either lol.
[5.5/10]
One of the main love interest's obstacles in this story is homophobia from her friends and herself, before she gets into a relationship with her love interest. Did irritate me that one of the main character's gay best friend fell for the other love interest's homophobe best friend. Also the ending seemed a bit rushed to me.

Left me wanting more, to be honest. Short and sweet one-shot. Also, good trans representation is hard to come by in manga stories without them being the butt of the joke - so this one was refreshing.
[7.5/10]
Not gonna lie, this story had me STRESSED when I was reading it. If you're sensitive to abuse and darker themes, this story isn't for you. It's a pretty good read otherwise and the ending is very cute, but also somewhat more realistic than what you usually see in romance manga (which I liked).
[8/10]
Very realistic in its portrayal of internalized homophobia, growing up in an environment where you're seen as abnormal and 'what ifs'. Sorry, no happy ending here - but still really good.
