i'm so soft. a story about two men that met through shared exes, and decided to experiment with each other only to *spoiler but not really* wind up catching feelings. this had it all; BEAUTIFUL art, interesting characters with SUBSTANCE, and a simple but satisfying plot that doesn't emotionally drain you by the end. i loved this pair from the very beginning, they're both so flawed but in a way that only makes you connect and relate with them more as their story progresses.
this story is about a long term gay couple and their day to day lives. gay, fluffy, funny, literally what more could you want? this is a very tame manga so don’t expect any intense sex scenes or brutal arguments. but i still ended up crying halfway through because their relationship is just so domestic and loving.
i'm such a sucker for low-drama high-fluff plots, and this takes the CAKE. childhood best friends who both unknowingly have a crush on each other, and how they come to terms with those feelings. i want to buy a physical copy just to support the author, because their story just made me so damn happy. it's short and sweet so it's definitely worth the read <3
STUNNING art, interesting characters, and a short but memorable story. camilo runs a cigarette shop while his life long best friend - who he’s (spoiler but not really) in love with - theo runs a liquor store. i loved how the plot shows bisexuality through a more established lense, and one that shows coming to terms with liking the same sex.
TW: coercive drinking/dub-con, not to an extent that would bother me (i interpreted it as liquid courage) - but still enough to mention
