- manhwa
- murim (martial arts)
- reincarnated with memories intact
- definitely my favourite martial arts manhwa i highly recommend!!! the plot always moves at a fast pace but never feels rushed, and the story naturally falls into arcs so it doesn't get repetitive. the protag's personality is pretty typical of the genre but i think it makes sense with all the backstory.

- manhwa
- western fantasy setting with leveling up system
- ressurection + timeline regression
- this one stands out a lot from other stories in this genre! the protag isn't human (he's a skeleton brought back to life by a necromancer) and shouldn't be able to feel emotion yet he has more character depth than 90% of mc's of shonen webtoons. the plot is typical, or it should be, but the way it uses the video game esque system + timeline regression is completely dif
- manhwa
- reverse isekai with leveling up system
- no list is complete without it! i know people are either too defensive or too critical about SL but like man... stfu. does a webtoon have to be "good"? is it not enough for it to be enjoyable?
- 9/10
- manhwa
- ongoing
- post-apocalypse live stream w leveling up system
- ^ you may think this sounds confusing . you are right. it's impossible to explain you just have to read it. so far it's very early into the plot so not much has happened but as someone who's finished the light novel i can vouch for it! not only is it creative, it pretty much hinges on a self aware critique of the story's own genre.

- manga
- isekai + leveling up system
- sick of seeing the same old black hair dark eyes blandly handsome male protagonist? boy do i have the manga for you!!! the protagonist of kumo desu ga nani ka is a (girl) spider monster!! at this point in the plot she's only about 60% of the way through her weak to strong chara development so she's not exactly OP yet but i highly reccomend none the less

- manhwa
- isekai + murim + returnee + reverse isekai
- similar setting to SL but completely different main character. mc is competent and efficient to a frightening degree, and while he's definitely an OP MC, his straightfaced interactions with the supporting characters definitely add a lot of comedy to this manhwa.
- 8/10
- manhwa
- reverse isekai + timeline regression
- i reccomend this to fans of SL as it has a near identical setting. the big difference here is that the protagonist is evil and knows it. i'm always a sucker for villain POVs!
- 8.5/10
- manhwa
- secret society of people with supernatural powers in the normal world
- mc is so baby it's unreal.. not as much action compared to other manhwa on this list, but the fight scenes that /are/ included are very interesting, and you can tell the plot is going to pick up soon. also very funny!! i recommend to people who want their action webtoons to be on the lighthearted side.
- 8/10
- manga
- isekai/reincarnated with past memories/weak to strong
- **harem + (mild) ecchi warning. also mentioned sexual assault**
- i usually avoid any manga with harem and ecchi but it's fairly bearable in this one and if you CAN push through that, the plot is a lot of fun! MC dies and is reincarnated to a western fantasy world as a goblin. he uses his human intellect and special ability to become stronger and protect his fellow monster friends.
- 8/10
- b/w manhwa
- mc learns martial arts after a murim master is isekai'd to his fantasy world
- reallyyyy long (that's a good thing!). starts off almost completely focused on fighting skills but eventually as the mc learns and matures the plot matures with him. a must read for people who like political intrigue/fantasy diplomacy/battle strategy. highly original world building!
