- when i saw the cover i was like oh great another standard isekai where the boring mc gets a harem of big titty ladies:/ but turns out that’s completely misleading! MC was a low level adventurer who had little strength, but was important in the community and known for both his knowledge and kindness. when he dies in a dungeon he finds out that he has turned into a skeleton!

- in a bleak future, MC gets the chance to rewind time. he chooses to go all the way back to his birth! with his memories & level up system (that he has access to decades before anyone else) he decides to do his best to stack the odds in his favour— mainly by making bank in the stock market! i have no idea how the economy works but i enjoyed it so i REALLY hope s2 isnt dropped

- this manga is only 6ch in but it’s very promising! after MC dies, he is reincarnated into his favourite game. this game is one in which the player becomes a ruler, and the objective is to develop a country, then expand your nation as wide as possible. he is joined by a former npc and they decide to create a new “evil” country together.

- when MC realizes that he has been reincarnated as a newborn in a different world, he wastes no time trying to amass strength. the result being MC at five years old, is significantly stronger (physically & magically) than the average adult. the manhwa follows his life but i can’t say more without spoilers. i love how MC’s design changes accurately as he grows up, and in general TBATE is just executed very well!

- another newer but promising manga. MC was a mercenary who lived a rough but fulfilling life on the battlefield. after the merc corps he’s been with his entire adult life is destroyed in a skirmish, MC has no choice but to become a temporary adventurer, and much to his own dismay he joins a party of novices. MC has much more experience than the rest of the party, but they look down on mercs and refuse his advice, leading to disaster

- the protag who gets stronger because they eat everything is a really common trope of the op mc genre but i think this is probably my favourite iteration of it.. probably because it’s actually about EATING not cooking.. plus MC is impossible to hate and it has frequent funny gag panels. the exact right ratio of comedy to action for a lighthearted shonen manhwa!

- this manga isn’t amazing but it’s a really strong take on the classic elements of the japanese version of isekai. some of those tropes are annoying but at least this manga does all of them justice... nothing really new though.. i enjoyed it for the battle strategy parts & demihuman races. definitely is a harem element but i didn’t mind because all the girls are independent & smart (the first FL annoying later on tho)

- objectively this manhua isn’t that good— the art at the beginning is extremely 2011, there’s a stretch of a hundred chapters were the translations are low quality, except for the MC most of the characters are two dimensional, but you what? i like it Well i like it. specifically the WORLDBUILDING!!!! is so good. the detail and effort and creativity of the magic system make up for all of its faults imo
