I had really high hopes for the artist is the same as "Palace of Bardo" one of my favorite stories. It had potential but towards the mod end it got confused and rushed. Towards the 1st life's end the ml's motivation wasn't cleared and what was going on in his mind also. Like what was smell of and why wasn't he clearing things. It felt rushed and unfinished. the hype didn't match with the story for me. I mean it was a really good story for an Omegaverse. But the lack of expression in the alpha felt very weird. I mean even when he was crying it felt like he was forcing him to cry :v and I hate that when the mls have poker face while having sex. It's such a turn off for me. Two fucked up individuals tried to use and manipulate each other to find solace and meaning in life and while doing so ended up in a lifelong of misery. In this whole story the most pitiful character was Won-il. He didn't deserve this. But the story was truly something else. Till the end I couldn't guess what would happen. The whole process was just a game of manipulation

Even though the beginning plot was very cliched, the angst and the after effect was very realistically depicted. I mean I literally know what it would be when the ml told that his parents killed themselves. So it was unsurprising. But after the revenge how the story unfolded was what surprised me. The ending was realistic and very depressing. The ml was mentally unstable from the very beginning and the FL also had issues. So they couldn't be fully happy and heal tbh.

Holy shit this story literally successfully gaslit me along with the FL. It was sooo engaging and what's best is that I couldn't comprehend or guess what would happen in the next episode. Honestly last 6/7 episodes the ml terrified the shit out me. He was terrifying and it felt suffocating like I was in the fl's place and experiencing all that. The manipulation really peaked here. The ml was manipulative Devil. But I loved the story. It was so unique. I haven't read anything

How can a hentai be so sad unlike most hentais it didn't felt dirty or disgusting. Which was a surprise for me. I really enjoyed it. I could really feel the yearning of this story.
