Soo sweet and fluffy TTTT RR for short manly seme and much taller soft uke! Drama in the beginning with the two of them becoming aware of their feelings, but after they get together it’s just so cute and fluffy and comfy and I LOVE them, Rui is so adorable in his earnesty and Yuu is such a sweet considerate seme, both clumsy in their love. Cute and comfy 10/10!

Cute! Ryuu was super dislikable at first but redeemed himself when they made up, Hiro is a good cinnamon roll. Short and sweet, development is good! There’s no switching which is :/ but still nice :)) 9/10 seme pov!

Sooooo cute! An adorable slice of life of an unconventional family, Ayumi is so cute and sweet and brave and the guys are awesome taking care of her. The love in this manga is healing! The steamy scenes feel so real too, Chiaki is a great gentle seme (more emotional than uke Kazuma) and the dynamic between Kazuma is great. Just a sweet comfort read to revisit, 11/10
Ugh one of my faaaaaves my teeth hurt from all the sweetness urk. I love the “unattractive ML” trope and here is a great piece full of amazing characters, development, and misunderstandings! The last few chapters had me legit crying despite being aware of the happy ending because it’s so easy to get attached to the charas and empathize with their pain and happiness. LOVE IT, A MEMORABLE ONE THAT I REVISITED FROM MY BRAIN ARCHIVES 11/10
Yes yes everything yes. This manga got it all! RR with seme being the physically weaker and smaller one, uke having masochistic fantasies(due to guilt), a great tragic backstory, and really three dimensional characters. The explanations behind their actions and personalities is great (sora-kun we can’t forgive you for what you did to ryou-chan but i sure can wish you all the best, you deserve happiness too). I LOVE this! The characters are so alive and endearing, Iwashiro is refreshingly honest (i agree with another commenter saying he might be on the spectrum/neurodivergent) and Seki is so easygoing and great. I love their dynamic, how considerate Iwashiro was in bed and how Seki took initiative but also how they both push and pulled at each other as they’re totally equals in the relationship. I totally agree with the point you made, but I just wanted to say I originally made this list for my personal use only hence why it’s not super neat and informative for other readers. I did originally also make this list for good semes who by my definition were pleasant to read about and generally didn’t engage in dub/noncon behavior, but that branched out to MLs in yaoi, shounen ai, and shoujo/josei as well. I actively look for manga where both partners in the relationship are equal without any weird power dynamics, which is why I put Ao no Flag hoping to say it was the opposite of imposing heteronormative views as it made it seem to you! I changed the title a bit to semes/MLs for more accurate generalization but won’t be going through the entire list since I still don’t plan on catering to other readers and getting more views, instead focusing on archiving my past reads. I never mentioned anything about the characters’ sexual lives and instead wanted to commemorate how lovely they were to each other in this reading list.
Hope this clears up any misunderstandings on my attention for future viewers of this list! Again, sorry it’s not very neat but I will continue to make all of my lists for my eyes only and am just happy to see anyone else enjoying some good manga you may find here ^^
I think this list could use some revising, I see that you put Ao no Flag in the list which doesn’t make sense to me because there is no sexual content to indicate who tops and bottoms. You’re kind of just assuming there’s a seme-uke dynamic because of their characters and size difference which is a bit heteronormative. They might be a vers couple for all we know

This is a really nice but if it doesnt bother you could you do a separate list for anything that aient bl or change the title because its a tiny bit missleading since on some page there are only shojo manga, beside that thanks a lot for the efforts you put in this list
Not a problem at all, thanks for your constructive criticism! Just changed the title to SEMES/MLs to account for the shoujo manga, I’m too lazy to make a separate list and edit this one and and that’s partly why I make the lists in the first place, so it’s easier to reread stuff I don’t wanna write new reviews for;;; sorry and thanks for understanding!

Aw thank you!! Like all my other lists I made these completely for myself with my ranty thoughts so I know in the future why I like/dislike a series so much (bc I always forget and it frustrates me lol) glad other people can benefit too somehow!
