This was so cute! Lighthearted and learning to grow from past failures, i love how they moved slowly in the start with the holding hands and kissing. Toyama is great and Nekota is sweet and doting, loved all the charas 10/10
Not too fond of age-gap romances (especially with underage charas) but this was done well. Uke realizes his attraction for seme after seme has grown up and they’ve spent time apart. No grooming and anything inappropriate while Subaru was a kid, he and Tatsumi bringing comfort and companionship to each other innocently. I loooooved this! I really like ayakashi themes and this succeeded in making me feel like experienced another world as well. I love how they really complemented each other, with Souta who is severely overworked finally learning to take care of himself with Kihachi’s doting, and Kihachi gaining confidence in the uncertainties of their relationship with Souta’s reassurance. I love how dedicated seme is, it seems overbearing and stalkerish but the way uke accepts it makes it okay lol and i love the uke’s character or how chill be is and reassuring of the seme when he doubts that his feelings are reciprocated! Just sweet and nice 10/10
WHOLESOME, ADORABLE, HAD ME SMILING THE WHOLE TIME, IT’S EVERYTHING I WANT. Even though one MC is “exotic”, they kind of normalize it and just interact with each other without regard of their differences and instead focus on their growing love. Luca’s smile is contagious and Makoto is bold and pure without being annoying, i’m only 2 chapters in and i adore everything about this.

Oh my goodness this was so so lovely TT All the stories were just so sweet and fluffy and I love how sensei writes the modest characters!! The first was so sweet with a growing family, the second with RR - smaller lively virgin seme pov and taller, timid, but more experienced uke, and the third with clumsy affection. All the confession scenes were splendid, i thoroughly enjoyed :)) 11/10
Ahh i missed this! Such gorgeous art and worldbuilding, i’m in love with Alta’s character and i want the absolute best for him ughh and Ileweth is just too sweet and kind. I love the forbidden love and angst, really hoping to see them all reach a happy end (or not LOL uuu) TTT 10/10
My goodness, an amazing cocktail of sadness and sweetness. Love! I adore the backstory and the characters are all just so sweet. Definitely cried lol. One that’s going in my faves, has really great personalities and lore!! 10/10

I totally agree with the point you made, but I just wanted to say I originally made this list for my personal use only hence why it’s not super neat and informative for other readers. I did originally also make this list for good semes who by my definition were pleasant to read about and generally didn’t engage in dub/noncon behavior, but that branched out to MLs in yaoi, shounen ai, and shoujo/josei as well. I actively look for manga where both partners in the relationship are equal without any weird power dynamics, which is why I put Ao no Flag hoping to say it was the opposite of imposing heteronormative views as it made it seem to you! I changed the title a bit to semes/MLs for more accurate generalization but won’t be going through the entire list since I still don’t plan on catering to other readers and getting more views, instead focusing on archiving my past reads. I never mentioned anything about the characters’ sexual lives and instead wanted to commemorate how lovely they were to each other in this reading list.
Hope this clears up any misunderstandings on my attention for future viewers of this list! Again, sorry it’s not very neat but I will continue to make all of my lists for my eyes only and am just happy to see anyone else enjoying some good manga you may find here ^^
I think this list could use some revising, I see that you put Ao no Flag in the list which doesn’t make sense to me because there is no sexual content to indicate who tops and bottoms. You’re kind of just assuming there’s a seme-uke dynamic because of their characters and size difference which is a bit heteronormative. They might be a vers couple for all we know

This is a really nice but if it doesnt bother you could you do a separate list for anything that aient bl or change the title because its a tiny bit missleading since on some page there are only shojo manga, beside that thanks a lot for the efforts you put in this list
Not a problem at all, thanks for your constructive criticism! Just changed the title to SEMES/MLs to account for the shoujo manga, I’m too lazy to make a separate list and edit this one and and that’s partly why I make the lists in the first place, so it’s easier to reread stuff I don’t wanna write new reviews for;;; sorry and thanks for understanding!

Aw thank you!! Like all my other lists I made these completely for myself with my ranty thoughts so I know in the future why I like/dislike a series so much (bc I always forget and it frustrates me lol) glad other people can benefit too somehow!
