BL with genuine romantic development ( ´▽｀)

Absolutely LOVE an angsty yearner duo. Both are traumatized/overworked and only have each other. Rivalry to friends to roomies to lovers sweet slow burn UhhhNgh YES! The pacing and tension and sweet moments are so well written and the dialogue is really realistic of young guys. Love love love 10/10

Oh my god this is everything. I think I have to come out and admit I’m just a huge sucker for well-drawn, slightly angsty Japanese Manga guys. This is a ghost x badboy (actual softie) trope with a wonderful size difference and a hefty serving of angst and DRAAAMA, but has so many cute side chapters with silly scenarios to keep it balanced. Super adorable chemistry. Both r cuties! They are FRESH in high school so if ur more into older stuff be wary but no sexual content so far tho 9.8/10!

Hear me out, this intimidated me at first and I didn’t think I was going to like it at all, but I ended up absolutely fucking falling for these two. They have a bumpy start but the way the sunshine guy just cares so deeply for the gloomy guy is just *gets on my hands and knees and screams* PERFECTION. Such a good romantic development and the chemistry is astronomical.

SCRUMPTIOUS! Historical sunshine play boy x calculating scholar slow burn with a sexy angsty side couple to keep you fed in the meantime omg I lived for this (;´༎Д༎`) the chemistry between the couples between the art and translation/writing-- INSANE. Um weird shoed-in mention of an old man “eloping” with a minor?? They just... threw that in there to keep us on our toes ig.

SPLENDID, COMPELLING, SAUCY, PANTS? PEED. 9.9/10

Like. Holy shit. Psychological thriller, horror BL. This manga is a masterpiece of art and writing, and while not particularly a drop-dead romantic one; their relationship is so well-written, complex, and in-depth that it deserves to be on this list!

10/10 - feels so natural and void of terrible cliche tropes that BL manga is usually riddled with. Feels original and one of a kind!

ALL TIME FAV. Just read it bozos. Muscley men fallin in love despite the grim circumstances. Fucking love it. Great chemistry too!! For my peeps who like more realistic-based serious works, this one maintains a great air of heartfelt humor to it with the overworked, dumbass, optimist guy vs violent, stoic, nagging serious guy.

AHHHH this is so cute! I fucking love when two characters just start to hang out all the time to the point it’s weird when they aren’t. These two have sooooo many cute moments. The romantic development is two guys gradually getting to know eachother and realizing how much they love being around each other. So excited for more chapters!

Okay so ignore the copaganda in this but this is SO GOOD!!! I love how the guys are both forward with their attraction and have like the best dynamic. There’s no toxicity in how their relationship is formed either, it’s a natural development. Have I mentioned that I fucking love their chemistry? Give me a stoic baddie + flirty idiot anyday plz and thank you!
