A golden classic, this one felt ahead of its time considering how saturated this genre was with non-con at the time. Story between a shy rising star idol and a charismatic hair dresser who fall in love with lots of healthy boundaries, communication, and mutual respect!
This one has a great build both in plot and characters! This author is great in general but this is one of my favorites! A naturally sexy bottom and a laid-back top who’s dynamic always gets me laughing and rooting for them. The yakusa and cop pairing is so well done in this manga, it has a great cast of side characters too that all have a good presence in the story. A great read, not to mention sexy
Super sweet romance between an Office salesman ace and a gloomy 30 year old Virgin, who suddenly gain the power to read minds through touch on his 30th birthday. It starts out with him wondering why this super good looking guy is interested in someone as gloomy as him, but through their interactions, he begins to see his own worth and starts to understand what it means to love someone truly. The build is natural, and the romance is mature, as well as tastefully depicted. 9/10
Infinite praise to sing about this. the art is BEAUTIFUL, this couple is the epitome of a painting and the burn is glorious. Set in historical Edo period, providing a lovely set dressing along with family and social hierarchy angst. After 7 years of searching for his former lover our protagonist finds out the man he fell in love with was actually the young lord of a prominent Inn/resort who is now a window with a 6 year old daughter. Still ongoing but lovely! 9/10
A modern coming of age story about a family and what it looks like when love and the acceptance that comes with it is all that matters in the end. 10/10
A fantastically fun and romantic story about a contract killer falling in love at first sight with a heartthrob actor and how their romance blooms! Their dynamic is so sweet, I’m looking forward to future updates! 9/10

A long awaited edition to the BL world, Ryousuke Nanasaki is an LGBT activist, him and his husband were one of the first same sex couples in Japan that had their marriage legally recognized in 2016. This manga is an adaptation of a memoir he wrote called “Until I meet my husband”. It is beautiful, real, and blunt about his journey to acceptance and love. The Translator did a really good job giving context to dialogue and even providing some experts from the book itself! 10/10

A gorgeous story of love blossoming between an older suave chef and his young editor. Over time, a sweet slow burn from tentative friendship to true romance! 10/10
