Discovering your identity while also having to deal with homophobia and the people around you. The problems the characters face are spot-on, i really feel represented in them
It has good representation of trans, asexual and non-binary characters, which is not usual in manga.
The reasons for the behaviour of the "bad" characters are very well explained, so you can't really hate them.
Very emotional and kinda angsty, so be ready to cry a lot lol
This is a very good representation of bdsm and kinks in general. I feel like bdsm in manga/manhwa is alway rape-y and non-consensual, which is not how bdsm works at all!
Apart from that, the characters had time to realise about their feelings and come to a mutual understanding. It didn't feel forced or like insta-love at all, which is something i like.
Lesbianism is represented so well in here!
Very fluffy and cute, literally can't get enough of it
A lot of comedy too! Very funny 10/10
The characters are so nice and their relationship is so cute and understanding~
Definitely a must-read if you like shoujo manga! Misaki (the protagonist) doesn't take anyone's bullshit, and doesn't have to be constantly saved by usui (the love interest).
Strong female protagonist
Very well written slow-burn
Usui has a lot of secrets! Leaves you wanting for more!
So fluffy and cute! The art is beautiful too
A must read when you feel depressed/sad
In the sequel they talk about consent and their relationship in general! It's very nice
I literally laugh my ass off when i read this the comedy is 10/10
Definitely watch the movie first.
This manga.. yes. This Manga. It deals with homophobia and being yourself in a way.. that's really relatable. I absolutely love Doukyuusei. Please, just go read it.
