I feel sad when a story had potential, but it's only a short oneshot! And that's definitely the case with this story!
This certainly leaves us with a bittersweet but realistic taste, but personally I'd have loved to venture into reading a dangerous forbidden love story, so I wish it was longer and that the youth pursued his feelings! After all, the beginning was great and the story could have gone on!
Anyway, with that kind of ending, one could still think that maybe at some point he will go a
The combination of sensei's delicate art-style and those heavy themes, which are btw depicted in a well-crafted non-explicit way, makes a striking impression: there's this sort of fascinating contrast between the gentle, light touch of the art and the harsh, horrid aspects of the plot, all unfolding in that beautiful traditional setting, which makes the story breathtaking! The storytelling is also superb!
Just thinking about how Sehyun would have had to continue to "live" like that if Boris hadn't come into his life, it makes me so sad! At the end, Sehyun's words in front of Tracy's grave sent shivers down my spine: "If it weren't for you, Boris might have left that restroom without noticing me. He wouldn't have had a reason to follow me to Michael's house...or roll around in the snow because of me, either. So, I...owe my life to you."
Ch. 7 Indigo Blue - Ahhh my heart, what a bittersweet ending! But it was interesting. I liked the plot and the characters!
"It was dark, but they had nothing to fear. For they found heaven, even in darkness."
Heavy, but beautiful. An intense and rewarding reading!
> Ahh my poor boys, how many hardships they had to go through!! But their love was so pure and it moved me deeply! I loved how they knew each other so well, understood each other completely and were simply each other's everything...they were really as one! Such a moving unconditional and equal love, with such a deep understanding and irresistible chemist
Well, the manga version obviously lacks the appeal of the anime's eye-catching visuals and, especially, the great soundtracks that made it more special and truly unforgettable, but I still really like it! The story is the same, just like in the anime, so it remains as interesting to be read as well. The ending in the anime was sad, it made me cry, but overall it's a touching and beautiful story!

[[[ SPOILER ]]] In the end, it was so sad that Haruto died! He died while not knowing who he was anymore, where he was, what was going on...that's just too sad! Those last moments were so touching, with L-Elf by his side finally admitting that he is his friend! And that little fist Haruto gave him...so sweet and so sad! Ahh my heart!
Beautifully-written tragic short story, which is regarded as "the first shonen-ai manga published and contains the earliest known male-male kiss in shōjo manga."

I recommend also trying out the manga “the ten years where I loved you most”
The ending is really sad but there are some sweet moments.
I certainly will, as soon as I have time. Thanks for suggesting! (●'◡'●)ノ

Thanks!

"We rip out so much of ourselves to be cured of things faster than we should that we go bankrupt by the age of thirty and have less to offer each time we start with someone new. But to feel nothing so as not to feel anything - what a waste!

Then let me say one more thing. It'll clear the air. I may have come close, but I never had what you two have. Something always held me back or stood in the way. How you live your life is your business, just remember, our hearts and our bodies are given to us only once. And before you know it, your heart is worn out, and, as for your body, there comes a point when no one looks at it, much less wants to come near it. Right now, there's sorrow, pain. Don't kill it and with it the joy you've felt." - Call Me by Your Name (Movie - 2017)
