good isekai + historical stories

This is such a sweet story and stands out from a fuck ton of isekais with dads for one reason: the dad here isn't shitty and truly loves his son. I enjoyed it so much because of how much both Aysha and Hades dote on Abel and shower him with love (because he deserves it!). The art is pretty nice even tho Abel has his infamous sharpie eyebrows haha.

This is the funniest historical webtoon I've ever read. The artist draws the meme faces extremely well, which makes the story funnier. Instead of the villainess falling for one of the MLs, she ends up rescuing the FL from them because they are too shitty. Nine, of course, is one of the loveliest male characters I've ever seen. He, Yuri, and Melissa are partners in crime. Art is fucking fantastic, especially the memes (and Nine)

This webtoon makes my blood boil. Navier is a perfect empress who has a lukewarm relationship with her husband until he brings back a slave and makes her a concubine. From here Sovieshu and Rashta are simply scumbags. Enter Heinley, the king of a neighboring kingdom who's infatuated with Navier. Heinley x Navier interactions are fun while hers with Sov and Rashta piss me off. This webtoon plays with emotions well. Art took some getting used to but I like it now.

ITS A LESBIAN ISEKAI STORY!!! Rei ends up in an otome game and decides to romance the villainess instead of the male leads. Francoise is such a tsundere, but Rei is gonna get through her tough facade soon and shower her with infinite love. Art is cool and expressive!

Another GL historical webtoon. Andrew is infatuated with Herta, her maid, who only plans to use her to reunite with her family (but ends up falling in love). Andy is very manipulative and cruel (bad childhood) and kills without hesitation. I was worried it was going 2 become a toxic relationship but Andy ends up really caring for Herta and just wants her to be free and happy. One of my favorite GLs. Art is really simple but its enough to convey the story properly.

It's a very interesting story in a way I don't know how to describe. Kuhn and Sierra are very unique characters that don't fall into a specific trope. I LOVE how their relationship is built on mutual respect but has so much sexual tension as well. The setting and plot is one of the most interesting and detailed I've read in an isekai webtoon. The art is to absolutely die for. I feel like marrying every single panel when Sienna and Kuhn show up.

I ship Meade and Psyche so much. The villainess and FL swap bodies and are forced to act normally. The ML turns out to be much more than meets the eye. I can't condense how intricate the plot is into here but it's one of the most interesting I've read and really messes with your emotions (hence the psychological tag). There are cunning, cruel, and vicious characters here. Currently no romance. Art is super enjoyable and I especially like their eyes.

Yerenica attempts to seduce the villian's father so he and she won't end up dead in the future. The MC is really sweet and shy, but she's not a pushover nor is she extremely weak. I liked how Erudian looks at Yerenica like she hung the moon and stars... it's romantic as fuck. Art is to die for, especially the eyes and hair.

Charlize was forced to become a literal sword in her past life and slaughter people. In this new life, she wants revenge and decides to raise the 13th prince Dylan and to make him destroy the empire. Yeah, I can't get with the relationship because it feels like Char groomed Dylan and Dylan is a possessive freak but, the plot is interesting... Just can't really see how the romance would work.

The art is at most a 6/10 for me, but the story really makes up for it. Lucia is based on the misunderstanding + arranged marriage tropes, but it stands out from other stories in this genre. Lucia and Hugo are characters with their own flaws that aren't annoying or stupid. Lucia is gentle and sweet, but she has guts. Hugo is known as a tyrant, but he's not unnecessarily cruel. The misunderstandings don't drag for too long, which is why it's nice to read.
