PSYCHOLOGICAL!

although this isn’t particularly “dark,” the problem she faces is purely psychological, hence its place in this list. i loved the depiction of social anxiety here, it’s so hard to watch but i loved it. overall it’s nice for what it is but nothing groundbreaking.

the time skip felt out of place (to me). and i wish we got to see them perform !!!

just a oneshot but it’s so well-done!!! i grew fond of the characters in a single chapter and that takes SKILL!
all i will say about this is that it takes place at the beginning of an apocalypse……. i won’t spoil the rest :)

this is psychological in the sense that it didn’t mess with my head… but my HEART ! so sad but beautifully sad plss read !

a brother pushes away his sister after their parents death. so she finds solace in a man who reminds her of how kind her brother used to be.

this was a hard read partly because of how much faith she had in her brother despite how cruel he was to her. sooo much therapy required for both of them tbh. but this was a simultaneously heartwarming and heartbreaking read :)

an unfortunate guy gets caught up in murders bc he started fake dating a girl… this is quite literally the simplest explanation. it’s ok for what it is but if ur expecting a twist, there isn’t one,.. (there should have been!)

if tragic gay couples r ur kryptonite do NOTTT read this .
this is a compilation of gay ppl in a zombie apocalypse, some couples will get to u more than others but be prepared for angst

- slight body horror perhaps, just sad

a sad, hopeful, and silly story abt two guys who collect souls. i kinda didn’t expect much from this but i got attached.. TOO ATTACHED ! love u amano and sakarai also transfem rep . spoiler alert but my FAVV thing to come from this is the last chapter bc it’s so enlightening and beautifully sad “i didn’t die twice i got to live twice” KILL ME NOW

been meaning to get around this one for a while and i DID and i finished it FOUR HOURS! returning from a school trip, a train crashes abruptly while it’s underground, killing everyone on board. except for 3 students… apocalypse awaits.

highly recommend for the story, love how long it was and both of the main characters passion to survive ♡ wasn’t a fan of the ending but i think it was interesting nonetheless
