The first season is sweet and I appreciate that, but it is the second season that bumped this up to a five stars. The second season is just hilarious with Yoonseul's shenanigans as he navigates dating Kang Jun. Yoonseul is adorable.
I love how kind Chansol is and how devoted Hanhoo is. I also love the straightforward way they communicate. This is very enjoyable to read. I finished it in one sitting (not because it is very short, it is just very interesting). I really recommend it, especially, since their relationship itself is very healthy. Usually stories set in a darker setting have very toxic relationships, but this is not one of those.
I think what makes this one a 5/5 for me is that the foundation of their relationship seems to be respect.
I watched the anime and then read the series when I was much younger, but the story and the characters stayed with me, even though I haven't had a chance to reread all of it yet. I still reread my favorite parts though.
Both main characters treat each other very gently despite the setting itself being heartbreaking, tragic, and violent. There is something poetic in the way this is drawn.
They are partners at work, they support each other, and protect each other. Also, really sweet. Manga is set up as a series of criminal cases that the male and female lead solve. The female lead has ESP and works with the police department, while the male lead is a detective in the police department.
So, here we have a gun-wielding, super-cool heroine, and a charming/teasing trickster hero. The art and story really do take you into another world.
It has a happy ending. This manga is about familial bonds, and also how to be family without blood relations.
Very soft and adorable set in historical period. Art is beautiful and story is too.
This manga is cute. Now, what to say about this couple? Well, they have known each other since childhood but they have never been on good terms. They don't just bicker. At times, there can be actual resentment, at least, on the male lead's part. However, there is also respect there. They do not mistreat each other or let someone else mistreat the other.
The Third Ending
