the character development of the violent and tyrant emperor was immaculate. he finally mellowed compared to his past life tho he was still a possessive jerk. the uke went through hell because of the shitass emperor on their past lives but he finally got his deserve happy ending as his present life. i love this masterpiece. made my eyes sweat at the 3rd couple wews. an underrated masterpiece like legit 100/10. first couple was cute as hell, after 700 years of searching for his past lover, he finally found him but their moment didn’t last longe, unfortunately since his lover’s life span is short asf the second is great too but brah, the 3rd? made me cry a bucket and broke my heart big time. gramps demon was their from his lovers side till he died bcos of old age and it was just so painful to see their last moments.

THE PLOT IS EVERYTHING. it’s great how it showed him the different sides of his lover and still accepted them no matter how dark his lover’s personality get, that’s true love yall. it’s like a test of faith and patience. i love how the seme is super patient, consistent and considerate towards all the personalities that was showed to him. this just proves that the seme truly loves the uke not just because he’s pretty and adorable but because he was so madly in love with him inside and out.
