two difficult personalities, mental illness/drug abuse. deal with sensitive material in a mostly realistic, pretty gritty way. i like that 'love' was not a magical cure-all, but having someone to support chris made him able to do the work to get his shit together, and that it took time. anyway, very nice art, intense story. lil one shot at the end about a black cat and his doting owner, pretty cute and a lil sad.

prostitute and escort. tough and graphic and touching. nice art.

had trouble with this the first time i read it- it is good, but the pace is kind of frenzied in the first few chapters and the MCs look pretty similar (akira has the goatee!) but the last chapter of the 'bar akira' story (ch.5) is kind of amazing and worth the wait. also includes two one-shots after the main story- the 'foggy scene' story is intense and ambiguous, while the other story is about a partner's looks and what is valuable in a relationship. nice art.

really good one-shots. kind of off-beat, or at least unusual characters. love the art. first is the section chief and his subordinate, then the doctor and former yakuza (which had a fun twist), and the sweetest was the blind guy and his neighbor.

better than average one-, two-, and three-shots. art in first chapter is rough, but gets better. shounen-ai, so focus on the feels. ch. 5 caught me off-guard, made me tear up.

the main story feels so real, and is heartbreaking and hopeful at the same time. the extra stories are nice as well, but the main story is the feast. beautiful art.

pretty straightforward love, sexy, good feels, nice art. just really like it. last two chapters are about cat cafe.

like the pacing and the flow. one shots + extras. first- salaryman x student- interesting relationship, seems unbelievable on the surface but has this ring of truth to it somehow. second relationship starts with two broken hearts coming together, kinda bittersweet. third is a ghost-ish story, pretty sweet. good art.

i was just thinking 'this is decent, but i'm not getting major feels,' and then the conversation about lost loves genuinely made me cry. very slow build, and sometimes the time-space continuum of the manga can be a little hard to follow, but worth the journey. nice art. shounen-ai.

really sweet story and nice art. man who is newly deaf and struggling meets an author who encourages him to get his act together. very nice build to the relationship, founded on respect and kindness, no ridiculous scenarios and misunderstandings.
