Main trans chara. it's a mixed bag: i was really drawn in by the storyline and setting! I love horror! I was very attached to some of our main characters and the way LGBT themes in 50s japan was explored. issues (mild spoilers): climax of the story has a lot of triggering themes like incest and child sexual abuse with a villain who seems to unintentionally fall into the transmisogynistic autogynephile trope. Tetsuo's body is sometimes fetishised by the narrative bu

Some recurring LGBT themes in some characters. Not a huge part of the storyline except for the real homo ass "friendship" Ester has with Scherezard and love declarations between same gender characters. Interesting story and i like the art style and gore
(⚢࿏ 5/5) TW; sexual assault
Dark, enticing, messed up and a mindfuck - no blurb can actually do this story justice. Be prepared to reread it multiple times in order to understand it. Tsuji was written to have some kind of romantic feelings for the author, so i could have put that in my review as well but it's kind of a reach if you don't know the author's comments.
[⚣⍟] 3/5 - for nice art but too dark
TW: rape, torture, dark ending
Man i know that from this author's other works that they def like a lot of dark shit but. The art here is pretty and I liked the dynamic between the main couple. Stay away for your own mental health if easily disturbed/triggered

TW: dark, gore, rape
Again I like gore and horror, and the worldbuilding for the demons is really detailed! i follow the mangaka's twt so I know how detailed it is. Main "couple" has a lot of violence and manipulation between them but r not supposed to be romantic. stunning art and i like the side characters a lot
there's more to the baker on the first floor than meets the eye. I'm still reading this so can't give a good review/TW
[⚣≛] - 5/5 one of my favourites
Yakumo/Bon was confirmed gay by the mangaka; pretty much canon that he was in love with sukeroku, but it's not explicitly said due to the tone of the narrative. Good story but sad, and more character drama rather than plot heavy. bonus points for themes of gender, it's hard to describe the appeal of this series but it's really good.

TW for sexual assault
corny and kinda fujo at times, but i quite liked the story! if you can stand the early 2000s art style, this version of 1001 nights is pretty fun. just don't take it too seriously. interesting storyline, nice episodic nature to it with a running background theme. happy ending for the gay couple
still reading, can't give a great review for now
havent read yet; gender troubles
