The story of estranged best friends reminiscing middle-school memories and epic fails in their hilarious bromance, sprinkled in with incredibly deep back stories that catch you off-guard. I cannot explain my love for this manhwa in coherent human words. It's the perfect mix of wonderful art, lovable dorks, and just that occasional heartbreak that makes one wipe away tears and yet crave for more. I do not want it to end, like, for as long as Old Xian shall live.
The story of a male prostitute who wonders at the excessive affections of the eccentic client who buys him weekly but does not let him do his job. Just read, please. Your BL experience is incomplete without having read this soul-crushing, brain-numbing piece of art.
Canis is all about mixture. There is that unique mix of American comic style with the traditional Japanese manga, and it ensnares you at first sight. Moreover, the plot that revolves around two very different characters, one from the fashion world and the other coming from the criminal underworld, is like combining two things in a dish that one wouldn't expect to come together perfectly, but they did. It unveils the journey to adulthood and discovering dreams. Amazing through and through
Honda discovers a side to his classmate, Kaidou, that no one else knows about, hidden beneath his delinquent image and aloof personality. How long will it take before this turns into a desire to monopolize his adorable friend? The emotions between the two characters are very relatable and believable, and the conflicts are shallow yet heart-rending. Aomiya Kara captivated me with her art's haphazard strokes and a level of fluff high enough to kill.
Park Min Gyeom has never once been needed in his life. He was always an excess, someone people can do without, just like the excess iron in his blood that he has to keep donating. But when a half-breed vampire comes to him and they strike up a mutually-beneficial deal, Min Gyeom is flung into the whirlpool of teenage angst, indecisiveness, and the stirrings of emotions triggered by blood loss and a sexy pair of fangs.
Suits? Check. Secret service feel? Check. Hot, steamy gay sex? Check plus. Contains three stories on working men and their daily escapades, be it with fellow agents undergoing "physical training", good-for-nothing adorable boyfriends, or rich heirs they never want to bring home to meet the parents. It's a really fun read, and the art is gorgeous.
Class notes in exchange for a homemade bento - this is the transaction that was set off between Kouhei, a student with severe hearing impairment, and Taichi, a hot-headed part-time-job seeker. Inspirational, heart-warming, and eye-opening, this story will walk you through finding the line between pity and understanding, friendship and love, and between giving up and snatching new hope.
It's an all-boys school, and the dorm life can't get any simpler, but that's what they thought. Falling for their respective roommates was something two ladies men, Higuchi and Wanibe, certainly did not expect. Also includes the story of the dorm manager and his FWB. The art is clean, the plot is simple with nothing extreme happening, but everything in this manga just gives you fluffy feelings you can't get enough of.
Three stories:
1) Time-travelling letters through a chocolate tin - Yuuki's mind-blowing experience with a pen pal from the past and trying to find him in the present
2) Childhood friends' misunderstanding - CONTAINS ONE OF THE DENSEST UKES IN BL
3) Marriage proposal - a promise made as children remains unforgotten.
WARNING: EXTREME FLUFF. MAY INDUCE PERMANENT BRAIN DAMAGE.
