It's just PWP. The sleep disorder (dubcon) aspect kind of makes it an uncomfortable read at times.
It's an okay read if not kinda boring. Kind of reads like a typical kdrama plot, but gay.
Uneventful. The story slowly builds up towards a confession and then ends shortly after that.
The characters are all messed up in their own way and have no redemption arcs. Bad things keep happening and then it ends. Good smut, though.
Typical "white foreigner is kinda sexy" story.
The main leads gaslight each other and break up several times, leading to a shallow and tense relationship that feels like it'll snap at any moment. The story shows the worst sides of people and has very few likable characters. It also includes depictions of rape, violence, blackmail, etc.
For a series that's long, it feels like nothing happens. It starts to feel like PWP after a certain point. The side stories also drag on while featuring uncomfortable tropes like incest. This author in particular has same face syndrome, so it's sometimes difficult to differentiate between the boyfriend and the brother.
