No one seems to get it - Noeru was already dead when Mamiya took him to the beach. Didn't you see how his hand dropped & Mamiya was so grief stricken? The "conversation"at the beach was either in Mamiya's head or with Noeru's ghost. Then Mamiya chose to let the tide drown him too so they could be together forever.
WTF? How come he didn't just take him to the hospital instead of the beach maybe he would have been saved. That way he could still take him to the beach when he got better! I think this should have been longer cause what happened to the boy who stabbed the model!!! This was to sad for words!!! thx D
