If I remember it correctly, he did not raise it with another woman. Yes, it was the red hair. That was just the plan because he is mad with Odette and wanted revenge. Odette is pitiful but she still wanted to save her pride which angers Bastian. That's why I like her. But things happened, she had miscarriage. He wanted to change but too late. Odette lost herself. It was very depressing to read tbh. I dropped reading the novel. It was too much to handle.

lol basically, yeah so odette was pregnant and had a miscarriage. if i remember correctly, she escaped from bastian. the other sandrine woman (the one bastain was going to marry in the past before odette) was planning to blackmail bastain with an obscene painting of odette (drawn by the half bro of bastain who is obsessed w odette, i believe). but bastian defends odette by saying that she only went on a trip and didn't run away, which kinda tarnished his reputation.

this is where it shows that he has kinda changed because he used to only care about himself and his reputation in the past but now, odette has become important enough that he's willing to let his reputation be tarnished for her lol.

and he knows where odette ran away to. he was excited to meet her again. that's what i remember during this arc, at least
