Been there, and still kinda there from extended family. I came out to my parents when I was 17…10 years later and half my family still doesn't know I'm trans enby, nor pan-ace. I wont make some bullsh¡t line of "Awe don't worry, he'll accept!" because some people are so conceited they demand everyone adopt their opinions, and they don't respect your beliefs or identity(s)…I hope it's that that bad in your case.
Thanks pal. I live in a homophobic country where it's illegal to be LGBTQ+, so I think I'll stay in the closet until I have a backup plan. I hope your family becomes more accepting of you though ! ! If they don't, let bygones be bygones.
