other than the rape which i don't condone (it was normal in old BL so i'll jut let that go cuz standards are dff, if you romanticize it recently it's different) and the possessiveness in the last chapter, the plot is very nice. i can relate to the MC a lot and i'm sure a lot of people do too, he's a well-written character most of the time. i love that it's about combating his inferiority complex and bettering himself rather than letting the past hinder him and doing better to make up for the past.
hear me out, i couldnt STAND how the uke kept putting the seme on a pedestal just cuz he was a best selling author, also i couldn’t function stand how the seme RAPED him twice?!! he was straight drunk the first time and the second time he was straight up KNOCKED OUT AH, HOWEVER i did really enjoy when it turns out that the seme ALSO put the uke on a pedestal and did all the highschool shit and became an author just to be with him but tbh if he confessed before than he wouldn’t have had to rape him uwu
