I'm kinda shock that the ratings are so low. I was expecting atleast 9.3+ rating. I've only watch the anime and this is my first time trying the manga. And I already knew that they change the ship in the anime so it didn't bother me.. but the fact that this is 8.4 makes me mad (╬￣皿￣)凸 This is my childhood anime along with others.
Even as a child i was bothered by Clamps heavy, not same-face but same-character syndrome. The robots had a much more original look then their recycled look owners.
Kinda rushed...? A 'country girl' that knows nothing about Angelic Layer starts playing and what...a week or two later she's the regional champion? That's more than 'a little rushed'. She fought against players with likely years of experience, and the only excuses given are 'she has good eyes' and 'she has a great battle sense'. Even if she was the most talented player ever it would take a few months to get to a level where you could compete in any kind of tournament... >_>
But one thing bothered me. Misaki didn't get to grow up with her mom because the mom was too shy?Come on if you can't even look at your child because you're embarrassed then maybe you should have gone and get some help with overcoming that.
I don't think it was because she was too shy, but she did become shy after meeting her daughter for the first time in years. I thought it was because her mom was busy working on Angelic Layer.

But they stated in the manga that she always were extremely shy towards everyone. Even her own daughter. And even if that wasn't so I don't think it's okay to abandon your child because of work. I mean She didn't even know who her own mother was and she was what? In her early teens? That not cool

Yea, it's played off as not that important, but in real life she would have lost custody of her child at the very least and be shunned by her sister for abandoning her child like that.
And a side note, the mother herself said that she abandoned her because she gets so shy/nervous around people she loves.
Gah I like how oojirou and misaki together not kizaki and oojirou I mean kotaro and kizaki is always together and misaki and oojirou is meeting but why would kizaki and oojirou together in last part ahhh I hate it I like the movie better that oojirou has a feelings for misaki and kizaki confessed her love to kotaro I like the movie better(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
