After watching the anime and reading the manga, id say the anime does things ALOT better but there are id say a few things the manga did better (BIGGG YAP SESH)
1. I'd say Izumi's resolution makes more sense (in the anime it felt like she randomly just started hating Mei and just went crazy) I liked how her and Teshigawara ended up more its a lot cuter. 2. Although I prefer Izumi's greater role in the anime i'd like for the anime to have more scenes of Kazumi and Teshigawara (Izumi lowkey took a lot of Kazumi's scenes) their friendship felt a lot more developed and the scene where he pushed him hits a lot harder they felt like true childhood best friends here teasing each other 3. I don't really like the last episodes of the anime, a lot of the scenes came out of nowhere imo like the innkeeper and his wife it was lowkey just there to be dramatic and edgy (however the atmosphere in the anime felt better) 4. The anime had a lot of doll imagery in the intro which mislead me a lot... ts had nothing to do w/ dolls and it was purely atmospheric 5. I prefer the way characters reacted, like Sakaikibara's panel as he cries about Mikami, the way Mei instantly took action to stop the tragedies (she saw all the gore and things happening in the last episode and still took her sweet time bro) and how much more blatant Teshigawara's crush was for Izumi
----- the things the anime did better are * Protraying the subtleties of Mei and Sakaikibara's relationship (it was a lot cuter in the anime a lot of moments were missed ex: beach scene, Sakaikibara dreaming of Mei, the way the held hands to run, etc.) * The beach episode (was fanservice lowk but theres moments there that just shouldn't have been left out I loved the beach ep) * The atmosphere of them finding the tape (felt too easy in the manga and there were a lot more stakes in the anime * I prefer the character designs in the anime, everyone looked similar here.. * The anime made you care about the side characters more, the manga is shorter therfore only focuses on the main chars * Although the way Sakikibara cried for Mikami was not shown in the anime, I prefer the way their relationship was in the anime.. him blushing for her in the manga lowk made me sick. I was PISSED
I already watched the Anime adaptation of Another years ago, but this is the first time I've tried reading the Manga and honestly the ART is just sooo *chef kisses*
The translation made it a bit hard to understand. I get it but there's a lot of things that aren't explained. I kinda understand why the anime made everything more dramatic and tried to tie up the loose ends.

The last chapters' panelwas confusing, like who was sitting at the desk? I feel so bad for Reiko though :(
The art style of manga much more better than anime
agreed
yall need to check out the anime, the sound effects/jumpscares etc are just so good, especially alone at night or in the dark
