IKR. Its hard to ignore it especially since most of the characters are the ones closest to Sakura who are down right pedo. Especially her father(Fujitaka) who married her 16 year old mother(Nadeshiko), her older brother(Touya 15 or 16) who was in a relationship with a student teacher(Kaho in her 20s) who is much older than him, and that same woman who is in a relationship with the kid(Eriol 14) who is the reincarnation of Clow Reed, and her classmate(Rika) who is secretly engaged with their homeroom teacher(Terada). Then there are those who were in love with their cousins = Sonomi, Meilin and Tomoyo (confirmed by authors) are in love with Nadeshiko, Syaoran and Sakura, respectively. And I was perplexed at the idea of Eriol's prediction of Yukito was around 17 to fall in love with Sakura because that how it is supposed to be.

They only minimized it in the Anime but it is clearly shown from what I remember. Since the Cardcaptor Sakura (original) and Cardcaptors (english) are completely different scenes, the english removed every creepy part (pedophilia, incest, and no offense the lgbt according to them since Yukito and Touya's relationship is completely erase, the pedophilia is mostly erased or changed to a more appropriate level, then incest made more like an adoration than romantic feelings for a relative.) where the original stays original like the manga.

I think the only good and healthy relationship that I see are Chiharu and Yamazaki, Sakura and Syaoran, and Yukito and Touya.

My apologize if I rant too much, I just love Cardcaptor Sakura. So when I read the confirmation made by the authors, I knew the manga has many red flags. I think the only redeeming part was Syaoran and Sakura's relationship. much more healthy and age-appropriate than any character here in the manga.

Oh yeah I remember Mikan's mom was 16 and dad is 29. they have more of a 13 year age gap. I think is more age gap from the previous manga that we tend to ignore.

I am an absolute fan of CCS and yeah these relationships are hard to ignore. since most are completely underage. and don't forget the same mizuki who was dating the young touya is also in a relationship with a 14 year old Eriol. confirmed by the author. if you read the sequel you can clearly see them both holding hands.

I think the only acceptable relationship in the series would Sakura x Syaoran, Chiharu x Yamazaki and Touya x Yukito for me.

They may have toned it down but its still obvious right. in the anime

They didn't though yukito isn't human so he has no gender plus if touya never existed as Sakura's brother that means everything that yukito would do in his other form would count as
messed up pedo because its a 10 year old wanting a relationship with a 17 year old person. And it's clear that they don't put labels on sexual orientation because obviously touya dated kado his teacher when he was in the 8th grade up until 9th before breaking up after that he met yukito in the 10th and didn't act on any romance until 12th grade.
