I could never forgive someone who would lie, cheat, and mislead me into raising another person's child (even if I came to love the child as my own). The actions that led to the situation would make me doubt everything about the relationship, past, present, and future.
Also, chapter 3: the older brother says that their mother died, while in an earlier chapter the younger brother states that their parents are divorced. Which one is correct?
