I just told a couple of people 2 days ago how much I like this novel and it deserves to be adapted into a manga, and now I see that Saki Aida Sensei passed away on August 30. Such a devastating news.
Seriously, me... speechless! If you never read another yaoi novel for the whole of your life, you absolutely, positively MUST read this one. When even I can't find the right words to describe how utterly amazing a story is, that is saying something!

YES! But I can't help being amazed at how much more attached I am able to become with these characters. Even the violent homophobe in Volume 2 becomes dear. Perhaps it is because there is so much more depth in a novel than in a manga. I need to find and read more yaoi novels. LOL

I have seen the anime and loved it. I read the short story recently, but what is here seems to be an extra and not the main story. There is also a dj to the main story. I have read both.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading it! It was a great break from the normal shorts-no plot-just rape or mindless sex-let's get together nonsense. It had so many different layers and very complex characters. Loved it.
