Sorry but it's difficult for me to keep reading this manga. I'm at chapter 53 and I'm so irritated that I just wanna hit something. To begin with that Abidani-freak just disgusts me and yeah I know, every manga needs a bad guy, but this one is just stupid. He hits and tortures students and have them inprisoned in his "torturechambers". He cut of fingers and do deathgames etc. I'm just wondering, what the hell are the principal and other students doing? Why is noone calling the police? Why isn't the mc doing that when he know that the freak kidnapped his father? Yeah, I know that I'm just in the beginning of this manga, but still. That's just so stupid and unrealistic. =(

It's similar to death note, code geass, lost+brain, and forgot others.. But do read lost+brain. And anime only for code geass:lelouch the rebellion.
Death note and Code Geass are good. I haven't read Lost+Brain. I'll have to take a look at it. Another one I enjoyed is Liar Game. If you're looking for a manga that you can't stop reading try that one.

Liar game is fantastic! And Lost+Brain is basically death note with a different ability lol. It's still fantastic in its own right, though!
The story itself is very good. It's interesting, new and it pulls you to read it. However, the art is.. well, not bad, but it's weird. The faces just don't fit. The expressions are overdone and.. I can't really explain it, but there are multiple things wrong. Also, the main chara is disappointing. The personality is okay, but some parts, even in just the first chapter, made me want to stop reading. The way he looks.. to me, is a big no. The hero is supposed to be intriguing, but he's plain. Too plain. The hairstyle is plain, his glasses are plain, his looks are plain - even though the girls in his class said he was pretty handsome. The way his "aura changes" is annoying. The boy leading him around is boring, since sooooo many mangaka's use a chara like that. In this manga, I expected more. Better art. Better personalities. More depth.
