The "romantic" relationship doesn't even really get pushed until the very end and honestly by then it's made pretty clear the ML isn't planning on doing anything with her. The majority of the story is just Shiharu being a really a really good babysitter,almost mother figure two the twins all while figuring out her trauma and her future. Fairly wholesome if simplistic story, the FL kinda reminds me of Tohru from Furuba

It’s important to know what you’re talking about. The focus of the story isn’t romance. The focus of the entire story is the mc taking care of the two children on the cover, watching them grow up and being with them during their struggles and happy times. The romance, last I checked, was barely there. Maybe hinted but most of it was the mc having a crush on the guy. The romance at most happened at the very end, where it was more open ended and they were looking to get engaged in the future. They don’t actually officially get together until maybe years later which happens in the second book.
But anyways, most of the people who rate the story highly enjoyed the MAIN story which involved raising the kids. There were moments where it fr made ppl cry cause there’s angst when it comes to raising kids lmao.
Also want to point out that at the time of release, the marriageable age for women was 16 in Japan, so by legal standards (in Japan at least) this type of romance story wasn’t considered a red flag or illegal. Of course to those of us in the West or in countries with other laws and traditions, it definitely strikes as illegal and immoral. It’s just one of those cases where we have to consider the cultural impact as well.

Ato 21 cm got deleted from this website while having the exacting same theme as Love so Life. The only difference was the fact that the ml was a highschooler and the fl was a college student.
