Now that the comments are back I came back to say BRING BACK PLOT HEAVY SCHOOL LIFE SHOUJO!! I feel like all the popular shoujo manga out now is pure fluff with barely any plot or care for the characters outside of the main romance. What I love about this one is that it emphasizes how important the friendship was between the four and the world building was really good. I loved the romance, but I think I loved the dynamics between the main four the most.
If I were to compare this to a manga it would be gakuen alice, except less intense and more romance. The plots aren’t entirely similar, but they both put a lot of work into the world building (and have brooding male leads). If you liked this, you’ll probably like gakuen alice as well.
I don’t think I’ve read a manga that has matched up to this one since I’ve read it. Seriously if you have more manga recs similar to this please recommend me some
DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN. THE ENDING BRO! THE ENDING! Even though its only 71 chapter, I'M SATISFIED (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ. So satisfied, I don't even need the side stories, hehehe. I miss this kind of stories. And I'm really glad that I found this story by accident. It's been a while since I read this kind of romance manga. The last time I read this kind of romance manga was like 3 years ago when I first read Kaichou wa Maid-sama. Dang, why did the shoujo/romance manga authors stopped writing this kind of story. Every chapter, it made me feel jealous because the four of them had a happy ending in romance. While I'm still worried if I'll be able to reach that level. My my my, I'm starting to talk nonsense again( ̄∇ ̄"). But, seriously, I'm really happy to read this manga. If I'm planning on reading this again, I want to read this again once I found my true love of my life (⊙…⊙ )(▰˘◡˘▰) ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭. Sooooooo, to the future self (if you still remember the password and your name), READ THIS MANGA AGAIN PLEASE ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
I miss shojos like that. They were entertaining, full of drama, proper build up, great characters, interesting Male Leads and character developments. Nowadays there're a little bland ╥﹏╥
This was such a good manga, I really enjoyed reading it. The that ending wtf... like he still didint even remember, and what the hell, why would they be so sadistic and do that in the first place. How is that even a prize
Someone forgets everything. Basically, I'm not very fond of memory loss in stories. It's cliche, but... sobs... it's still very effective! It comes a close second to being killed/dying (third, for me, is betrayal). However, even if I dislike this... I am always filled with hope with those characters. They met again. That's the start. And since the warmth of their hands feels the same way it did before, then surely... they'll have happy memories of the future. (How optimistic) yeah, because it's a fictional story! Since they end it this way, then I shall take the liberty to imagine, like in Magico! So, from here on: 1. He'll still fall in love with her 2. He'll remember things gradually (highly questionable?) Or she'll tell him about the past he does not remember (slightly more probable?) It seems that there's no way he can't fall in love with her... I just don't see that ending, what with the way the "end" dropped its hints.
Although yeah....
It also could've been good if they supplemented it with an epilogue like 1 year later or even just a photo of the future. For better closure's sake.
Yeah, I get you. I also want to see them live a happily instead of ending the story with a cliffhanger. But to be honest, I'm 100% satisfied with the ending, soooooo, yeah (=・ω・=)
