Art is stylistic, but inconsistent and not that pleasing to look at; the characters are 1-dimensional and not very lively, especially the female lead; and the panels aren't very aesthetically pleasing. They don't really have a rhyme or reason or a flow to them that's pleasing to look at. Skip this one, it's not worth your time.
This story just made me angry and frustrated. But this is shoujo, so of cause the female lead is gonna be crap. And did the author just "conveniently" forget, that the girl had the ability to resurrect the dead? Why The Fuck didn't she use that skill on Ororon? Arrrggghhh I'm getting pissed off just writing this.
Spoiler : Wtf wrong with that bitch chiaki?! The other day she could destroyed almost entire town with only her scream, now she jst useless! Beside, she is A GOD!? This is wasting my time really, I wish it can be more better. I got so mad entire chapters to knwing what she could do only crying! All ppl had tried so hard to protect her and she jst doing NOTHING!
(SPOILER ALERT) Yes, labeled as tragedy, so forewarned, but I can see from other comments, that I am not the only one that thinks it didn't HAVE to end that way. I mean, seriously, weren't they calling her "savior" and "little god"? Hadn't she already resurrected a demon who had been killed? Even if she didn't remember doing it, it was a spontaneous reaction to the emotions of seeing her cat friend killed.
Are we saying she cared LESS about seeing Ororon tortured and -rather literally - ripped apart in front of her? Wasn't she inclined to even THINK about trying to use her power to save him? Even if she might have been too afraid/unable to in the end, you think she would at least want to TRY? ...at least WISH she could TRY!
It really felt like she just LET him die, and that turned the "sweet" tragedy of it very bitter and irksome. I never want to see it again!
If they made her character have actual development, I may have walked away from this saying that I actually liked it. To be honest I kinda hate it. She is something of a god, SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO, oh I dunno, HELP OUT? The entire story is just Ororon dying, but oh not really. Like, okay, both the main characters are super strong. Okay, well, prove that the so called "Heroine" is actually someone useful, because since the first volume all she has proven is that she is just an utterly useless character.
This manga was stupid. She was weak. How do you go from being a powerful god who can resurrect people to what she was in the end. This story was all over the place. In other words "Stupid"!

I think she knew she couldn't, that she was in way over her head, and I believe that there was a part of him that was ready for rest.
