I rly like sasayan but not when he got mad at natsume for being cold to his friends and hating men when they give her unwelcomed attention. + he should have helped the delinquent trio back off whenever they physically latched onto her. other than that this series was a great read
Not gonna lie, I’m so down bad for Micchan- he’s so cutesy and a great dude. I get why girl fell for him lol
Such a satisfying story :)) the characters are just too cute and the topics of understanding, complex sibling bonds, family dynamics, and past regrets just make it a great story.

This was one of my first shojo’s and I’m so glad it was, I re-read it at least once a year and it really holds up IMO. The whole story feels very mature in the way it explores emotion and I genuinely believe that every single character is amazing.
Even Yuzan and Iyo who got on my nerves occasionally I came to love by the end and I was really impressed with how the author handled Ooshima in the role of love rival, she wasn’t some 2D villain and I felt bad for her when she was rejected.
I’m also reeeally glad that Micchan and Natsume didn’t end up together, I’m so glad that he acknowledged their age and maturity gap because so many other stories in the genre would end with them together. Besides, Sasayan deserves her!
On the topic of love rivals, I actually like Yamaken better than Haru lol. Don’t get me wrong I love the monster boy too but Yamaken’s arc and gradual love for Shizuku is just so swoon worthy. I know that he goes to medical school. They don’t mention him being in a relationship at all though Iyo wants him to find someone to be happy with. Seems like he has some lingering affection for Shizuku and wishes for her to be happy with Haru as her happiness brings him joy :)
THIS WAS S BEAUTIFUL I CANT EVEN T-T,, after watching the anime i instantly wanted to read the manga and finished it in one sitting i started reading about 6pm and finished till the end about 5:30am and im not even complaining this is a master piece! i love itヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~

I've been saying this since i was 12 and it's been 8 years
After reading this whole manga it feels like I saw how the characters grow up and it's making me feel like a proud parent huhu
