It's lowkey nostalgic. In older BL, the characters just didn't resemble real people at all and I guess that made things like rape and sexual aggression easier to look past. Still don't like it myself but I can maybe see why fujoshi were okay with it

6 and 7 were better than the first ones. 1-5 men were too aggressive and demanding
