I just re-found this manga after finding an old printed volume in my house. I had completely forgotten about it. Came looking to read it for some nostalgia and thinking it must be finished by now, only to see it's...not. So sad
I'm sure that there are raws out. I remember back in 2018 wondering what happened to the volumes that were released in Japan. Only to find out the author had a wrist injury (I believe) and went on hiatus. As far as I know there's another volume that was released after this current one but I don't know the current status of the series or the author. At this rate, it may be better to by the original Japanese volumes and see if its translatable or even available. If anyone knows the current status of the mangaka let us know!!!
Something weird? Help... I remember watching that anime and I believe reading the manga, but after rereading and watching I am confused. I believe that the young boy was targeted when getting a cake for his partner, kidnapped and freed in exchange of his partner (tsuguki) iving up his body. He was used as experiment, while the boys (hisoka btw) memories was erased. After that something about a traitor and a dangerous mission to free the 'shinigami'. Wher-the-hell-did-those-chapters-go!? I am sure it happend, just atleast a year ago I read, maybe saw?, it.... Please help!
For all who are curious/confused as hell, YnM hasn't been discontinued!! There was a very long hiatus because the mangaka had a disease and couldn't write or draw, but she came back a couple years ago with a completely redrawn version of previous chapters in Volume 12 in a drastically new art style (which you can find here: https://mangarock.com/manga/mrs-serie-278096). The volume helps to clarify a lot of the confusion we've been having for a while with the seemingly incoherent chapters. As for official English releases, Viz is supposedly re-releasing all of the volumes up to 11 and then releasing 12! Hope this helped!
so there was so many request on continuing this manga, they totally ask another artist to resume this work? or am i imagining things. cause the style totally changed from the last 3 chapter...hmmmm
