I wonder what happened to Lyca as I completely forgot about him but I really liked the development of all these characters although some side characters such as Sosetsu (?) didn't really have much backstory or explanation as compared to the others like Koyomi, Yuuta or Chanting Man (I forgot his name but he's respectable). I like love triangles but I guess it'll be unfair for Koyomi right? One of the most interesting plot developments of all time as the more you think about how some things like Shuuji's attitude towards life because of him being a Elizabeth's child makes complete sense. He quickly became one of the most ordinary looking characters too an important figure for story development. 100000/10 love the mix of approach in this one!
She's neither a human or a zombie. I can't say it's for sure since they never mentioned much about her life span, but I think she has the same lifespan as Shito
I remember reading this years ago while it was still ongoing and loving it! reading it now i'm a little older I do see lots of issues though, which is a little sad. ***SPOILERS*** Like Koyomi loving Shito and saving his life and meaning a lot to him when as far as I'm aware, before she confesses her love for him on the train she doesn't really interact with him at all? and michiru never seems sad that Yomi's soul can't be retrieved in the new world at the end, it seemed like they should have spent some time wrapping things up more and exploring the new status quo at the end but then they kind of went for an open ended feel so. idk it just felt a little underdeveloped in places, but I do remember rushed endings and underdeveloped romances being a problem in Shugo Chara by the same authors so maybe it's just their style I'm not meshing with. I had a couple more issues (at the end none of the other z-loan guys regain their memories :( but i guess they're happier having not died and being able to live normal human lives, and michiru gets to be with shito and chika again at least) but i don't think anyone wants to hear me complain so I'll stop now haha ***END SPOILERS*** Still like it a lot though, it's well worth a read! interesting plot, great characters and interactions and really nice art too. I'm glad I re-read, even if I found a lot to nitpick at haha
