super secret? More like super CUTE! Just very sweet, heartfelt, romantic and Hilarious. And like ghost wife it starts to embrace a hint of melancholy in the back half that works rly well (without losing its sense of humor). And unlike ghost wife this is an unequivocal happy ending that feels very wrapped up but not in an obnoxious Perfect Bow way. that said the side character's endings were perhaps a bit Too open ended. more in some cases than others, and thats my only gripe tho i understand why the author chose to do this. but otherwise this a Perfect friends to lovers romance with a really cute fantastical twist involving werewolves, witches, fox demons and vampires!

the anime is better tbh

this is the cutest most wholesome romance webtoon ive read so far. I would say its part shoujo highschool romance and part shounen action comic and ALL comedy. Its a bit like Rumiko Takahashi’s works if i think about it. Which is perhaps why i adored it so much. I was a big ranma fangirl back in the day but tbh i liked most of her work, and it had the usual marrying of action, romance, and comedy. like Ranma it does interesting things with gender roles albeit in a very diff way. Anyway altho it was super stinkin sweet, its also really moving and manages to feel light and fun without feeling lightweight and vapid. Furthermore the female lead is Goals and the male lead is the SOFTEST boy. Finally its absolutely hilarious and if this wasnt a korean webtoon it would prob already be an anime cause it would be perfect as one. I would say its tone also reminds me a bit of School Rumble but this one is def better to it’s main female lead but unlike Rumble, the extended cast is def less fleshed out. I do adore all the side and supporting characters but we dont really get to know some of them as much as i would have liked. Two in particular come to mind. But anyway the plot manages to feel fast moving and frantic and while it took me a few eps to catch up with its hectic and “noisy” style, once i did i was really ALL in. this is great for binging and i wonder how the pace would have felt if i’d been stuck reading it on a week to week basis while it was running. At any rate i highly recommend this, and even tho its set in a highschool the actual schooling is barely a factor (which the comic cheekily points out on several occasions). The tongue in cheek take on the many highschool romance tropes is also really fun and never feels overused. I seriously laughed so much! (and also SUCH a happy ending my heart needed this)

i really enjoyed this webtoon and highly recommend it! It has 3 (and eventually 4) couples and one of my fave female leads in a webtoon period. altho it can be quite smutty it also has alot more story and dialogue than sex scenes. so if u just want a parade of filth then this might not hit the spot but if u want a good helping of romance with ur naughty scenes then this should hit the spot! (the art did take me some getting used to tho, it does get alot better as it goes on but yeah i wasnt a fan of it at first and its why i put off starting it so long). anyway this is all very consensual MINUS some dubcon elements (the sex is consensual but not all acts involved are fully consented on, rather its kinda...heavily pressured on the guy). basically almost all the problematic elements are in the femdom couple. which was also the least well developed or realistic of the couples just cause of how over the top the guy was and how disinterested the woman was in even attempting to communicate with him. tbf her intention wasnt romantic or to be a couple at first so...yeah. it didnt Offend me and i did love her whole "im a cool sardonic tall girl" vibe but it was frustrating to see how their relationship was more a source for comedy than actual romance or relationship exploration. they work it out in the end tho so i guess its fine? lol. no complaints at all about the other 3 couples tho. we even get the CUTEST MOST WHOLESOME GL couple in this story among the 4 couples. but yeah all the female charas are great and i woulda recced this just for them tbh.

Super charming and fun! i wish it didnt have that tired "man pretends to be gay to be straight gal's roommate" trope that is so weirdly common in korean based cohabitation shenanigans. neway its otherwise excellent tho. the gay thing is dropped by s2 and instead we get 2 seasons of them learning how to be a couple despite both having some real trauma in their pasts. and their own internal issues to work thru. watching two people grow together and also as indivuals is so satisfying. and on a shallow note the dude is crazy hot like omg. anyway i like the female lead is such a stoic closed off person, we dont get alot of female characters in main roles like that. instead the usual bubbly type of female lead turns out to be a more complicated and even sinister character. the characters are all interesting in their own ways but i'll be honest about not caring too much about the secondary guy until maybe right before the very end lol. anyway highly recommend this, very satisfying romance and slice of life story. and i would gladly spend another 40 chpts with the male lead's adorable and loud family. (i will say i lament that i never got to see the UST resolved, only had it hinted at. i know its not a smut toon but...CMON! at least give me some over the bra action!)

another fun dynamic where the guy is soft and domestic and likes to be dominated by his free spirited takes no shit female partner. its a cute but ultimately forgettable story. and the art is kinda ugly lol. but i enjoyed it. its an easy breezy read. alas there is no pegging. this guy woulda totally said yes too! (in fact he was perhaps a little too agreeable and mild mannered...) like the guy is a little too much of a pushover sometimes that he becomes pitiable. their relationship basiclaly didnt feel fully equal and it was also too short to rly delve into either character or the relationship as whole. but i did like the gender role reversal and finished it so its ok imo. not good. not bad. just ok.

this was really mediocre and yet i read all of it so idk what that says about me. it's not Bad tho. its just Fine. its a korean webtoon but makes me think of alot of the shoujo mangas i read back in the 00s. so take that as you will. i dont have too many major complaints aside from that it didnt need to be as long as it was and the Female protaganists "best friend" was a piece of shit and i didnt feel bad for him at all even when we learned his sob story. the male lead was sweet though, i thought he would be the prickly imperious aloof type but in fact he's just traumatized and lonely and shy so he grew on me p quickly. anyway i did like the female lead and her confidence but i do wish she had like even One female friend and her family didnt spend so much of the story gaslighting her "for her own good". and ofc with these kinds of stories the romance has to remain chaste. which wouldnt be annoying if not for how insanely horny this poor girl is and she never gets to have her thirst quenched until the very very last part of the story. and ofc it has to end with a wedding cause its not a proper vanilla het romance without one. just seems like a waste of the whole cool vampire conceit if you ask me. idk can lack of ambition be a valid story critique? cause if so...and my other other issue is the main antagonist isnt even a proper antagonists until the very final act and then...nothing rly comes of it? its solved almost immediately once his true evil mwahaha plan is revealed. and also! he isnt rly dealt with? the writer kind of implies at the end he'll fall in love with some weird lolita chick and suffer but its so half assed omg. and why is shitty friend blonde boy the one to give him the Read? ugh anyway. its fine i guess.

gosh where doi start with this one? im surprised its not more popular and also Not surprised at the same time. i mean i am baffled that a 20 yr old woman NOT ending up in a relationship with a 38 yr old man at the end would be considered a bad thing by Anyone but also her actual endgame love interest is super hot so like why not? I do wish we got more of him and her together but thats clearly not that interesting to write about cause its ultimately friends to lovers and the tropes that go with that. which i dont mind! but i can see why Choe was more interest in portraying the female protaganist's first (and very sexy) love instead. while also making sure we all can rest at night knowing she's not going to ruin her life by marrying a man almost twice her age who also has a kid ffs. tbc im not big on age gaps esp when its the man that's older However i can totally understand why a younger person would want to fuck a notably older person, or have a crush on them. i just wouldnt root for them as a long term true endgame couple. it doesnt feel realistic to me as a coupling that would work irl for more than 5 yrs tops. Anyway, this is a nice coming of age josei style story with a distinctive art style and some really hot sex scenes like hoo buddy. My main complaint and why i didnt give it 5 stars is the underdeveloped and very depressing side story with the other female character in the larger cast. i just felt like we didnt need to see her suffer so much. tho im glad she got to have her first love and a cute kid by her side at the end at least. i do love that there are 3 interesting female characters and all of them are distinct from each other. Also one of them is a sexy ass butch lesbian who has a one night stand with the female lead like Damn Ms choe, way to hit me right where i live. anyway i def rec reading this just brace yourself for some sexual assault, rape and domestic violence in a couple of chapters. (most of which is tbh skippable...)

oh my gad this is HILARIOUS. i've only read the first story (i love a good anthology tbh) which is a bonkers take on the popular korean folktale of Chunhyang. i wont summarize it here, if u dont know it you must go wiki or google it cause knowing it will allow to appreciate how hysterical that first story is. the sex scenes are short but nice. i gotta say the story kept giggling enough that i wouldnt have noticed if there was no sexy times at all. EDIT: well finished it (all chpt now available in eng on tappytoon). and it was delightful from start to finish. definitely liked some stories more than others but i did enjoy the variation in size and shape among the tops and the bottoms and funny and not always obvious way the writer would spin each fairytale or folktale in her attempts to make then funnier and super gay. anyway def recommend it!
