They all wanted peace but Ian's second brother poisoned Claude's father through the Selby family (the family of the one girl that absolutely wanted to marry Claude since she was little but he never acknowledged her)... bla bla bla point is: both the love interests know fl is a girl, they both proposed indirectly. Now she went to visit the camp with her loving brother Kieran and the Prince Wade to see Claude. Claude left with her the Northern Duchess' flower brooch to claim her because he found out she was a girl the night he was departing for war. Anyway at the camp he told her he likes her for her, didn't tell her that he knows she's girls yet. And now he brought her to an observation point in their camp from witch they can see the enemy camp (Ian's camp); so from that point they have a geographical advantage because they are higher but they are disadvantaged because there is a direct line of sight, so basically it looks like Claude is about to kiss her hoping that Ian would see from afar. and during the prior evening to this, she admitted to herself that she loves Claude.
