Has some plot holes but overall a nice read

read till ch 10 white hart Alta was found in inhumane conditions in a village. Ilwes found him and gave him a name. In the royal palace Alta was treated well by his attendants but many people said behind his back that his birthmark is disgusting and also don't allow him to go out or to be seen. He learnt to talk and read and when it was time to marry the second prince Alta and Ilweth tried to elope but they were catched and injured Ilweth was exiled in the far north, while Alta was forced to marry prince Toguto. He was trying to figure out how to go back to Alta but there an accident happened when kids were bringing him to see a waterfall to write about it in the diary he kept for things he wanted to tell Alta, and he lost all his memories. Three years later Alta is going to the far north because of the first prince's coronation and finds Ilweth and asks him why he never answered his letters but finds he has lost his memories...
